Sewage-Floor Drain Backup

The homeowners were doing laundry and went upstairs to spend time with their family after putting in a load of laundry to wash.  After about 2 hours away from the basement they went down to move laundry from the washer and the dryer and found that the floor drain had backed up into the basement and they had sewer water coming into the flooring of their basement.  When we arrived the plumber was finishing their work on the floor drain and we were able to come in behind the plumber to do our work, eliminating wait time for the homeowners to get their home back.  We extracted the sewer water, removed some baseboards, did a very intensive cleaning of the floors, walls, affected contents, and helped the homeowners create a list of clothing and other items that were ruined in this sewage loss.
